Questions You May Have
-
Acupuncture involves gently inserting thin, sterile, single-use needles into specific areas of the body to encourage a healing response. These points are chosen based on connective tissue pathways and key muscular landmarks. The exact needle placement is guided by the practitioner’s assessment and tailored to your individual condition.
-
The time it takes to see results can vary depending on the condition being treated. For acute issues, improvement may be seen in as few as 4-6 sessions. Chronic conditions often require 8 or more treatments to experience significant progress. We assess your progress weekly to ensure you're moving toward your health goals, and we'll adjust your treatment plan as needed to achieve the best possible outcome.
-
Acupuncture is typically not painful. Most people find it relaxing and soothing, with a sensation often described as light, tingling, or warm. It should never be painful. If you have concerns or questions about a specific condition, we're here to support you and ensure your comfort throughout the treatment. Feel free to reach out—we’re happy to address any concerns.

At The Violette House, session costs vary based on the type and length of treatment. For detailed pricing information and to find the best options for you, please contact us directly. We're happy to answer any questions and help you choose the right treatment plan.

Yes, and we can help check your benefits! We also recommend confirming your coverage directly with your insurance provider. The Violette House is currently in-network with BlueCross BlueShield. Depending on whether you have a deductible, you may only need to pay a co-pay. Some insurance companies will specify which conditions they cover, and if you don’t have any of these billable conditions (usually pain-related), you will be asked to pay the time-of-service price.
