Meet Dr. Nicole Lizzio, DACM, L.Ac.
Our Practitioner
Dr. Nicole Lizzio, DACM, L.Ac., is a NCCAOM board-certified and licensed acupuncturist, and the founder of The Violette House. She discovered acupuncture at the age of 15, thanks to her mother, who initiated her journey into this medicine. Over time, Dr. Lizzio became amazed at the efficacy of such gentle treatments and decided to follow this path. She received both her Master’s and Doctorate degrees from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco, and her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from the University of San Francisco.

Throughout her undergraduate and graduate studies, Dr. Lizzio worked at Blue Ova, a integrative healthcare center in San Francisco, and trained with Clinical Director Robin Sheared, L.Ac., FABORM, for five years. She has worked extensively in the field of women’s health, supporting couples on their journeys toward conception, pregnancy, and postnatal care. Dr. Lizzio focuses on supporting both women and men facing fertility challenges, those undergoing IVF/IUI, and individuals seeking natural alternatives for balancing hormones and treating menstrual irregularities.
